Churned Revenue
The total revenue lost due to customers canceling or downgrading subscriptions during the period. This is available in Stripe.
Expansion Revenue
The additional revenue gained from existing customers through upgrades, expansions, or cross-sells during the period. In Stripe, you can look for 'Subscription Update' events and manually sum them up.
MRR at the Start of the Period
The monthly recurring revenue at the beginning of the period.
Net Revenue Churn
Net Revenue Churn shows if you're losing more revenue than you're gaining from existing customers. Positive means loss, zero is stable, and negative means growth. Negative net revenue churn is a highly desirable state, showing that your business is growing even without adding new customers.
All is not lost. People return. Sometimes they accidentally churn. Churn is often solvable. All you need to do, is put in the effort.
