Net Revenue Churn Calculator

This is an easy to use net revenue churn calculator. If you need a perfect trend of your churn rate, I'd recommend you check out Churnkey and ask for their free metrics product. 

The total revenue lost due to customers canceling or downgrading subscriptions during the period. This is available in Stripe.

The additional revenue gained from existing customers through upgrades, expansions, or cross-sells during the period. In Stripe, you can look for 'Subscription Update' events and manually sum them up. 

The monthly recurring revenue at the beginning of the period.

Net Revenue Churn shows if you're losing more revenue than you're gaining from existing customers. Positive means loss, zero is stable, and negative means growth.  Negative net revenue churn is a highly desirable state, showing that your business is growing even without adding new customers.
